[edit] Character Description

Trunks is a fictional character from Dragonball Z and Dragonball GT, and he is the son of Vegeta and Bulma. The first time he appears in the series is actually three years before his birth, as a character called Future Trunks. It isn't until three years later that the birth actually takes place and he is seen with his mother, during the Garlic Jr., Trunks, & Android Sagas.

Baby Trunks

In all of his incarnations, Trunks sports purple hair bowl cut. In his future appearance, he wears a Capsule Corporation jacket.

Future Trunks is a mature, respectful, quiet guy. His counterpart; Trunks is a happy, playful, serious, and powerful guy. Future Trunk's best friend was Future Gohan, until he deceased. Present Trunk's best friend was Goten.

World Tournament Saga

Kid Trunks

In the World Tournament, Present Trunks was going to enter the tournament for the adults division; that is until he found out he could only enter the junior division, because he was under 15 years old. He won his way to the finals, he fought Goten and won, by using Super Saiyan, while he told Goten to revert from a Super Saiyan. So it wasn't quite clear who would of won if it wasn't for the Super Saiyan transformations.

Babidi Saga

In the babidi saga, Goten and Trunks registered in the tournament as mystery mask. While the other z fighters went to prevent Majin Buu from coming out of his shell. Goten and Trunk's were fighting as one, as mystery man. They turned into super saiyans to win against android 18, but were discovered and disqualified, they soon fled to where Majin Buu and Majin Vegeta were. Trunks and Goten came to Vegeta's rescue and knocked Majin Buu off of Vegeta. Vegeta, knowing Trunks and Goten would be killed fighting Majin Buu, he knocked them both out.

Buu Saga

Soon, Goten and Trunks awoke from being fainted. They soon found out that Gohan and Vegeta died. Trunks then asked Goku "Why'd he let his dad die," and Goku couldn't think of a good answer. Goku suggested to beat Majin Buu, that Goten and Trunks should fuse. They soon practiced to fuse. Goten and Trunks requested to see Super Saiyan 3. They soon learned the technique later on. Goku's time was up after using Super Saiyan 3. The boys used fusion from the supervision of Piccolo and became Gotenks. They soon were ignorant and stubborn and ignored piccolo to become a Super Saiyan. They thought they could beat Majin buu in normal, but were gravely mistaken. They soon turned Super Saiyan, but instead fooled around and they defused. They soon slept and trained in the hyperbolic time chamber. They were awaiting Super Buu. They battled Super Buu for a long time in Super Saiyan. They were saving their best move for last until they acted as if they gave up. As the last chance of earth's survival, Piccolo destroyed the door to the hyperbolic time chamber; so they were trapped. Super Buu then ripped the dimension to earth; with his anger and screaming. Super Buu ate everyone by turning them into chocolate. Gotenks then turned Super Saiyan 3 and ripped the dimension to earth. Gotenks and Piccolo saw the destruction of Kami's look out and battled Super Buu head on. They soon were about to launch their last attack, and they went to normal and immediately defused. They were rescued by Mystic Gohan. Super Buu then tricks Goten and Trunks to turn into SS3 Gotenks. Then, they were absorbed. They then escaped from Goku and Vegeta's help,later in they both died from Kid Buu. Since Kid Buu destroyed the Earth. They then were revived by the eternal dragon porunga; along with the rest of the world. 10 years later, he enters the world tournament and sees Goku's last appearance in DBZ. Than the non-cannon show Dragonball GT comes on.
