Nappa

Nappa is a fictional character from Dragonball Z and Dragonball GT. He is a member of the Saiyan race. He is an elite warrior, and a companion of Vegeta's. He accompanies Vegeta to Earth to help him search for the famed Dragonballs. He is a bulky character, and wears a Scouter, due to his inability to sense power levels. He appears during the Saiyan Saga in Dragonball Z.
On arrival, Nappa immediately shows some of his power by evaporating an entire city in an instant. Soon, he and Vegeta come face to face with the Z-fighters. He easily faces Tein and Chiaotzu. Unable to beat Nappa, even with his most fearsome attacks, Tien succumbs to him. Piccolo steps in, but is easily matched. As Nappa moves to kill Gohan, Piccolo moves in front of him, and is killed instead of Gohan. However, when Goku arrives, Nappa is no match for his Kaioken from his training from King Kai, and is defeated. Vegeta, in scorn, kills Nappa himself.
Nappa briefly appears in Dragonball GT, as one of those who escape from hell, but is killed once again by Vegeta.
