The people of the planet Kanassa were wiped out by the Saiyans, or more accurately, Bardock and his team. Their people have the ability to read minds as well as see into the future, which was shown by one surviving Kanassian who gave Bardock his technique of being able to see the future, so that he would be forced to have visions of his people's demise just as they had to view visions of theirs.
