Hercule or Mr. Satan is a fictional character from Dragonball Z and Dragonball GT.
[edit] Plot involvement
He is first introduced at the Cell Games, where he is the first to challenge Cell. But despite holding the hopes of Earth's populace on his shoulders, Hercule proves no match for Cell, as he is defeated in one blow. Later in the Cell Games however, he is partially responsible for Gohan's Super Saiyan 2 transformation, which ultimately kills Cell. Afterwards, Hercule is incorrectly considered the one who defeated Cell. He appears again in the Majin Buu Saga, whrre during the final battle with Buu, he is the one who convinces the Earth's populace to donate their energy to Goku's Spirit Bomb, which destroys Buu. Hercule also appears sporadically in Dragonball GT, but has low involvement in its plot.
